Question of the Day
An important question about work:
Do you crap on the clock?
Note: I should clear this up...I am not asking if you indeed deficate directly onto the physical clock located at your place of work. I have no desire to know the answer to that. What I am actually asking is whether or not you use your regularly scheduled lunch break at work, and other allowed breaks, in order to relieve yourself, or do you abuse the clock at work choosing to do the big job on company time, in addition to your regularly scheduled and taken breaks. It should also be pointed out that this is not a, "Oh yeah, I did that once," or "when I have to," kind of answer. This is a question about your usual activity--your normative behavior.

You are right....you do think too much!
My answer is yes and I am a salaried employee....and I am usually thinking when I am _______ and sometimes that is the only place I can get solitude @ work.
I also have, depending on the time of the year about 12-20 employees....I think about 50% of them _______ @ work.....most people like a bathroom that is personal to them and will wait....

Absolutely. I actually will force one out if it's 4:30 and I haven't gone yet. If it's 7:30am and I have to go, I measure (I have a formula) to see if I can hold off until 8:00am.

I gotta say, this conversation is kinda nasty-but I'll join :) I am also a salaried employee, and I do not do this at work. I also have no "scheduled" breaks, do not take smoke breaks, and do not take other breaks that I rationalize as being okay. No offense guys, guess I'm just (ahem) anal about the boss' time.

whatever, flick... no disrespect, but i don't make a habit of finding ways to ride the clock, but if i gotta go then i'm gonna go. i work on salary, too, and i have no qualms about earnin' a buck or three on the can. like i'm gonna clock out because i happen to be at work when a necessary and healthy part of the day comes around. if you're that worried about it, use the time like tater up there and think about work or what you can do to be more productive. maybe you could just ask for a pay cut to ease your mind from the overdeveloped sense of servitude you seem to have embraced. less pay while you struggle to hold your bathroom in all day beneath the iron fist of your boss... that sounds nice...
