Regular musings about those things most important in life--especially family, music, and college athletics. I hope you laugh. Please don't throw rocks at me.

Just Another Manic Monday

Today is soooooo buys quesolitos. I have way too much to do, and if I don't focus and slow down I might get the old golden sombrero (my all time favorite baseball term denoting a player who has struck out and every at bat during a game).

This birthday was a good one. I now have a single lock (15 or so hairs) in my bangs on the right side that has decided it's time to go all silver fox and turn grey. Stress or age, pick your poison. All the youth swear I look edgy and cool. I think I look weird and oldish. Either way, I won't do anything about it.

On a side note: Music makes life so much better.

You know, my grandparents are coming to town today and I have to go clean because my grandmother is amazing, but she is the embodiment of the old saying, "Cleanliness is next to Godliness." Bear in mind, our house is not dirty, but it is certainly only up to "RATHOLE" on her standards. So I must go clean immediately and simply pray that she doesn't make some comment about how they actually clean for guests but we opt for a more realistic approach to hosting company.

Either way, I realize now that I fear my grandparents a bit...not in a completely unhealthy way, only in a somewhat unhealthy and neurotic way. Bottom line they are stronger and better people than me. I desire their approval greatly. Hmmm.

God save the Cheese.

I understand. Shortly after they left you, they made their way to upstate New York. I have never cleaned so much, so fast. I think we pulled off though, you and I.
