The might orange and green falcons. But since the school was Ben Franklin HS I'm just glad I didn't have to play for the "kites" or something.

ours were the highland "tartans". and of course they too wore kilts. it would have been much better being called the scotts. but as my wise bossman always says, you can pick your nose and your seat, but you can't pick your family, or in this case, your school mascot.

The Sam Rayburn High School Texans. Not kidding. Our mascot was Yosemite Sam. Sam Rayburn is the longest serving Speaker of the House in U.S. History, by the way.
