Question of the Day

The late Sylvester Ritter, a.k.a. the Junk Yard Dog, wants to know:

Have you ever watched professional wrestling?

By watched, I mean at least somewhat consistently--more than once--and kind of got into it.

If you have, who was your favorite wrestler?

Being from the south (I think we like it more here) I watched "wrastlin" (yes wrastlin) my whole life all the way up until say late freshman year of college.

When I say watched I mean ordered 1-2 PPV events per year, checked online sites like www.pwtorch.com for ratings news, shoots, heel turns etc.

Sting and Goldberg (two of the new ones I know) would have to be my favorite Wrestlers. Dark, the crow, mime sting, not I'm from California I'm so excited sting...

Also, down here in the southern parts, we didn't like WWF.

WWF was like the evil twin who was trying to ruin your reputation.

WCW was where it was at, prolly because Ted Turner owned it...

Cheese,
I'm still indebted to you for point out to me the error of my thinking regarding Mr. T (aka Laurence Tureaud -- though he officially changed it) being the Junk Yard Dog. Obviously, it follows that I never really watched wrestling much. But Mr. T, for the record, did do a couple wrestle mania's with Hulk Hogan [I just looked it up].

I was big fan of Ric Flair. If you want to be the man, you've got to beat the man. That pearl has stayed with me, yes, even today.
