Question of the Day?

Which scares you more:

Diseases that are acronyms (i.e. AIDS, or SARS)?

Diseases that are named for animals (i.e. Bird Flu, or Monkey Pox)?

Diseases that are scientifically named (i.e. Ebola, or E-Coli)?

well i would go with the 2nd one.. Like Bird Flu.. and Monkey Pox.. Makes me freaked out that an animal would have em.. Scientific ones are kinda like candy.. Doesn't Ecoli sound like a candy from way back when.. also the first one like AIDs took me a little while to figure out it wasn't helping people instead it was harming them.. Yeah not the smart type but it sounded cool.. But you can also make up some weird names with it so u can be like AWESOME! and all that jazz

I find it a little scary that you're making a list (and checking it twice?).

Animal ones. I've never even heard of Monkey Pox, and that scares the urine out of my bladder (edited for content). Acronyms somehow don't seem as real. But the animal names are terrible diseases that spread from animals to humans (The Jump, as I call it). So either humanity is depraved, or the virus is smart. Either way, scared to death.
