that would be really funny to hear what they said to you...but no i probably wouldn't call the poison control center..

i probobly would have flushed for like a minute, then got bored and stop. Then see what happens, If it felt like my ligaments were going to fall of within the hour, i would call, but if not, i wouldn't even bother. snails are cute, you should get another tank, just for the snails.

I remember the poison ivy story. Yeah Ad, call whoever you can, poison control should only be the start!!!

I did not read these comments but posted on "Had a Snail" and then read these comments. I would have washed my hands...that's all.
Call poison control....what to get angry at thier inability to assist you and probably tell you to go the hospital???? I'd figure that it would kill the tapeworms in me and that w/b a good thing!

no call to the pcc- a slight rinse off of the arm would suffice. I'm sure the warning about skin contact meant in it's concentrated form, not diluted with gallons and gallons of aquarium water. oh, and I have not been to college.
